Anyone ride line Chronics?

I'm looking to get a pair of 2015-2016 chronics this summer. However, I've read on countless threads that they're about as durable as riding on a sheet of glass. Is it true that line skis are not durable?? If so, any recommendations on what skis I should get? I have a budget of around 400-500 bucks. Thanks!

Chronics are about as durable as any other park ski. The line afterbang and mastermind are/were garbage but the chronics are a pretty high quality ski.

They are a nice ski for all mountain/Park riding but the top sheet does chip and shave off very easily.

Line is ok there skis don't last long but they are so fun to ride go with armada el reys they should last a long time!!!

If you're looking for a very durable option this is not it. My Chronics started delaminating in 3 spots after 4 months of riding..

I have 14/15 chronics I picked up this year and I love them! They have he perfect flex for my riding. The only major issue you can have with most line skis is the crazy chipping on the top sheet. Almost the entire inside part of my top sheet has chipped off. But other than that my skis work fine for me!

You should definately buy them, I've had an unreal season on them in the park. No major damage yet but I stick to jumps rather than big disasters. Poppy, playful, and fun.

I'm on my 2nd pair this year.

My first pair started delaminating after 3 days (the edge was separating from the sidewall). I think it must have been a manufacturing defect.

If you're solely skiing park, make sure to DETUNE. Detuning should definitely decrease your chance of delam earlier on.

Apart from the durability issues I have encountered, it's a really fun ski. You should be fine, get them if you like them, as they should be a good choice.

I've got the 2015 Chronics and have no complaints. Alot of play butter, but still firm enough for some good pop on jumps.

As stated above they do chip. I've had mine on the slopes 7 times and they're already chipped AF.

But I would recommend them to anyone.
