I found it hilarious honestly... But I'm curious. I know we've done our fair share here discussing the reputation on women's skiing, but what were your thoughts on Stepp's approach? I think it's entirely justified to find something like that frustrating, because although it's a joke, and although it's funny, it's not really helping the cause of girls not getting torn down every time they try something new. Thoughts?

I think it's tough portraying a minority group without frustrating at least a couple people but I think he did a great job of showcasing the issue of pettiness in women's skiing. I've met way too many chicks that just want to have a popularity contest on the hill. We gotta motivate and help each other.

I thought it was hilarious! I've never met any girls who get jealous or act petty like that. Any girl I've ever ridden with, no matter their skill level or mine, have always been super encouraging and just stoked to be out there. I'm sure there will be some ladies who get offended by it but not me haha. A+ Stepp.

Seemed to me like a convenient excuse for the boys to fulfill a lifelong fantasy of dressing in drag, rather than any serious political commentary.

As a girl who grew up watching womens skiing progress I find it very funny cause just a few years ago there was a group of girls who wouldn't push the limits so to say in comp skiing. It was like once you reached a certain point with sponsors and getting into the x games the same old run with 5s and 7s would get you on the podium. Up until 2013 when Tiril won her first X games did progression really begin to happen, atleast from my point of view.
