FKS Forward pressure tab issue.

I've got a problem with my FKS bindings.
The white forward pressure tab goes underneath the turntable, how do I fix this?

I bought a new pair of bindnings simply because of this problem with my old pair. 10 or so days into the new bindnings I have the same problem as with my old bindnings which really sucks. My local shop don't have any knowledge on FKS bindnings so i'm asking you guys for help here.


The white tab is underneath the turntable, which makes the turntable really loose since it don't have any pressure (as i understand it). The black piece which the tab puts pressure on is higher up than the tab. I can push the black piece down and it sits as it should but after a few turns it goes goes back to the wrong position.

Gonna try to get some pictures if needed.

not super knowledgable on the matter, but i do know you can get replacement brakes on evo.com for like 60 bucks and swap them. its basically the whole bottom piece starting from the arms that screw into the dildo looking piece. i did it with an old pair of fks from their race era since they were too skinny for my skis.

Ummm, I would turn the dlido, clockwise pi/2 (90 degrees) put some pressure down on it, and twist while pressing down back to the normal position. The tab should grab and be in the proper position.

Ive only ever had this issue with the bindings un mounted, but yea, im still not exactly sure what the problem is, maybe post a vid?

No matter if i spin it around or push it down it stay in the proper position.
Like I said I bought a new pair solely to fix this problem so this really sucks :(

ive seen this a bunch of times while dismantling and rebuilding fks'.

super easy fix, turn the heel 90 degrees then take a long flat head screwdriver or knife and pull the tabe towards the tail while you pivot the heel back to it's normal position.

Yeah but the table is/were higher up than the tab so it just goes back underneath it.

HOWEVER, I think i've fixed it.
Tried to fix it on the hill with no success but with all the ice and snow melted I could screw the hindscrews (the ones by the brake) a couple of turns. Lasted the whole day, so fingers crossed it were that easy of a fix.

Sounds like the plastic rivets (Poor design I know) have already gotten loose and are not holding that black heel AFD down as they should. best fix for this would be to replace the whole baseplate. That should set you back about $40 USD.
