DeforestationBecause gore tex makes zippers now. Get your head out of your ass, Pringle.
afterbanginnonly known/bought saga for a few years now and i got to say i really like where the companies going while there designs are a little funky and unique i like how they're now exploring the whole mountain and bringing there park style all over the mountain so good job Saga keep it up
PringleProducts with gore-tex have higher quality, waterproof zippers that actually open and close smoothly. Quit being such a bitch.

Nicholas.SuchyI wore my Saga snow pants for about 3 months before there was a hole in the crotch so big I could fit a basketball through it if i wanted to. Had a friend sew it back up and that lasted longer than the actually factory sew. Also got a jacket that year that had a rip on the left side almost instantly, didn't do warranty on either because I didn't have any other outerwear to wear when skiing and I'm not about to give up skiing for 3 weeks to get a new jacket that I'm not gonna wear next season. Don't think I'm gonna buy Saga anymore, haven't had that good of an experience. They look cool but they're really not that good of quality.
3/10- wouldn't buy again
drumbumocdpdid you contact saga? I had a zipper break on my anomie two seasons ago and i sent them a picture of it. Less than 24 hours later I had a tracking number for a new one. never had to return the old jacket. I also just retired a pair of their pants with about 400 days on them.
New 3L jacket is hard to zip up sometimes, but the material is great. would like to see metal zippers

AnGaperThis isn't how you get free gear.
Put this in gear talk next time, lil guy.
afterbanginnwhen saga had that sale i picked up some pants for 95$ with 20% off so like 75$ and next day virtka had a sale for pants half off so next time probably will go with virtka
leprechaunsissyMeh...i was up there yesterday and the parking lots were absolutely fine. I love bachelor though, so maybe im biased.
Dennis_Reynoldschanged my mind, fuck saga everthing
all of it is shit quality and probably made in a sweat shop
S.J.WThat's because Goretex only allows certain brands to use their membrane to ensure a high quality product. If goretex allowed anyone to use their membrane you would see jackets that are shit and jackets that are amazing. Just like Hyvent from TNF have a 600 dollar jacket and a 200 dollar jacket that is a piece of shit.
kim_jong_ill90% of their gear is ugly as fuck. snowboard brands are where its at honestly
Dennis_Reynoldstrue, armada gear is where its at though.
kim_jong_illyeah but so is airblaster and burton. the AK series is amazing

Banane. If I'm not mistaken , you have to pay Gore to use their Gore-Tex membrane. They have some criteria that you have to meet. Gore test the jacket before approving them, so that's why the Gore-Tex jacket are normally better.
As for TNF, you can see that they are moving away from gore-tex, they skip summit series and relaunched it this year whit Dryvent 3L, which is way to stiff for my liking.
All S/S was gore-tex before, for the most part, and it was really good.
But using gore-tex cut into profit , and that's why the use mostly Hyvent, Hyvent 2.5, Hyvent alpha (which is a membrane) and now dryvent.
I'm a big fan of Arc'teryx, because they use gore-tex for everything, And I like gore-tex because I know what I gonna have and how good it is, Sure Dryvent 3l, Derminaz and all the other membrane are good, but Gore for me put a membrane that equal quality, and I'm not buying anything else now.
S.J.Wyeah, a gore tex jacket you're usually paying a mark up for. Still worth it thouh
And if you find dryvent alpha to be too stiff that may just be the denier of the fabric. I don't work at TNF anymore so I haven't done any research and forgotten a fair bit of shit but that's my guess
Banane. Not the apha, sorry if I said that, I'm talking about the new L5 summit series, which is dryvent 3L, my alpha sv is is not as stiff as that and the sv is 80 denier

Austin.skisaga needs to work on the stitching. I have had the stitching ripped in spots on both my pants and jackets.
