Sliding Concrete Ledge?

Been getting into a lot more urban this season and was scoping this dope down-flat ledge on my campus today.. It's definitely concrete but a smoothish concrete, not straight sidewalk material. Still I feel like I'd catch mad edge on it. How are people sliding these in urban segments? Wax? Do you lean into it a certain way? Btw I know it destroys skis, I have a pair of delamming old Surfaces for this use.
