Building jumps

How do mountains such as Jay feel about building small kickers on the mountain? I want to bring a small avy shovel and make a kicker in Expo (that natural trail with the small cliffs) so I can get some kick off of the rocks instead of dropping

It's generally frowned upon, but totally doable. I used to do it all the time places. Just be semi discreet if you can/be quick if it isn't. Maybe get a friend or two to pitch in. Throw the shovels in a backpack so you don't look like you're up to something and send it.

I mean some places have given people shovels to make jumps but generally officially it's at least "frowned" upon.
