Reverse Manifest Destiny

It seems you westerners think that our sport has reached all the way to the east coast, every part of america and canada. Well guess what, it hasnt. There seems to be a pocket of resistence at Ski Liberty PA. I went there yesterday and realized i was the only kid with twin tips in the park. Furthermore, the guy that got the most props in the park was someone who pulled a wicked spread eagle off the monstrous 5 foot step down we have.

Even worst is that the park isnt designed with skiiers in mind. the only two boxes in the park were set about 2 feet above the lip of the inrun (which sucked) so unless you bombed the shit from the top and cleared the flat, no skiier was gonna get up there. So gay

Don't feel so alone man. There are still a lot of places out West that don't have skiers in mind when they design and groom their parks. Mtn. High in SoCal is always a hard place for me to ride because the gaps are all setup for snowboarders and very hard to get cleared and turned onto the rails. The grooming also sucks, tons of board ruts everywhere.

Here in Las Vegas there are only about 3 newschoolers in our park and we're all friends. All we have to do is the simplest shit and everyone on the chairs goes crazy.

You're not alone man. Just do your best.

Still it fucking sucks. Even the jumps were shit. The 5 foot stepdown landing was all ice cuz boarders aparently cant land jumps going forwards and the '20 foot table' was about 5 feet wide with 30 foot boxes on either side. Plus the damn kids had a hayday using the lip as a quarter pipe so it was shit. Im just really pissed about it.

Im gonna go cry now.
