JoeyBolleeJust went up to see my brother in Cincinnati and he surprised me with a new pair of poles for my birthday. They are 115 cm, I like them a lot but i'm worried that the might be too long because im mainly riding in the park. I dont know much about poles considering ive never used them so can you guys help me out, should I take them back and get a smaller size or keep them?
JoeyBolleeAlso, i am 5'9
3than0d3116'2 and I'm using 40's.
HAMNATIONim 5'6" and I drink 40's
C_LadoThe way I determined is just putting my arm strait down and putting my palm down. Got a buddy to cut them that length and they're perf for regular riding
CashForToastIf you turn the pole upside down, and put your arm at a 90 degree angle, you should have the top of your hand at the basket of your pole.
That's how I do it, and it works well.
If your poles are too long you can cut them you know. Just yank the shit out of the handle till it comes off, and cut to your size. Then you can put hairspray or glue on the pole where the handle should be, and stick it back on.
