Replying to Earliest open hills and parks West of Colorado?

I am planning a trip to do 6 months in the U.S. and I am trying to figure out where usually opens the earliest and where the good early season parks are between Colorado and the West Coast.

Also where are the best parks mid season? We plan on visiting Breck/ Key, Mammoth, Park City and some other places but we want to plan our trip ahead. Any small cheap resorts with rails and such would also be fantastic and any help with where to go and when for powder would be appreciated too. Budget will be pretty limited but we will buy a van when we arrive to get around and sleep in.

Any locations for urban while we are moving too would be greatly appreciated, especially maps/GPS/ photos, particularly in Colorado, Utah and Oregon.
