BrucetheSharkrecently I've been talking to this girl and its just like consuming my life to the point where i dont think about skiing as much idk how to stop this feeling because skiing is my passion but like does anyone else have these problems?
PringleYour situation is my biggest fear. If I ever fell into that trap... The girl would learn to ski and love the sport, or I would cut and run. Simple as that.
BrucetheSharkShe's skiied before and I still go regardless, I just don't think about skiing as much I still do but not like 24/7 I mean with the lack of snow in the east it's not to big a deal and she lives about an hour away do I can ski on my pvc rail over the week days
MinggAs much as everyone loves skiing, you can't ski 24/7. You have to normal shit to. School, work, friends, family, girlfriends etc. It's all important. In my opinion, there is nothing wrong with you spending time with a girl, as long as she's not psycho and tells you that you can't ski. If she does, then fuck that cunt.

DeepskierYeah well its a little the other way around pussy will come and go forever, whatever go get a hooker or some shit, beat it i don't care, but skiing may not always be there because A. you think we will have skiable snow in 30 years? and B. you can get laid at any age. you cant go flat 3 to your fucking head and get up and be fine. so lets say you are 60 years old you can get laid but cant hit a jump without having to ice your knees. So enjoy skiing while your body can handle it.

But skiing will be here regardless. I guess you're in the ski industry, so maybe that plays a role in what you value, but my relationships come first. Period. That doesn't mean I don't get out or don't bail on people for a good pow day, but the way I see it, if recreational activity gets in the way of relationships you place value on, you need to find a better balance.
