SourSteezleYou sound like you ski slow. I was just at beaver creek and was in perfect control and got a speeding ticket for doing nice carves, not going too fast or out of control in any sense.

I was straight lining a run at Canyons down to super flying condor lift, carried speed past the gapers in the lift line, snuck on an empty chair as it was coming around the bullwheel, next thing I know a yellow jacket catches the chair with me. He explained why I was in trouble, I apologized and told him I completely understand and know exactly what he means. We had a nice lift ride up chatting to each other about his job, skis, recent pow storm, etc. It was nice.

humptyive never been out there so im not sure how it works, but how the hell do you get caught speeding from these guys? Everytime i blow by them and they yell i just keep going, they have never caught me before.
Film.My friend was once chased out to the parking lot of keystones Peru lot. He had un clicked his skis and was nearing his car when they yelled at him to stop.
Film.So all i'm saying is it's a lot harder to evade these guys then you think. They all have radios, they can cut the whole chair and get directly on the lift, possibly track you with the RF technology, and most i've encountered have been good skiers. One once followed me into a double black diamond glade in beaver creek. I dipped into a shack and posted up there, I flipped my jacket inside out and made it safely to the to bus.

japanadaJackson Hole tried the whole speed gun thing on the Casper lift area, only last about a week b/c when you have rippers and a speed gun, obv we are gonna make a contest out of it. Never ever got in trouble/ticketed/talked to.
