mad river is a family mountain and we know how dads go bad shit crazy when their kids get hit by someone ( a snowboarder in this instance) and snow boarders (lets face it) have a huge blind spot.
deer valley dose not want the risk of some rich asshole suing because some snowboarder hit their kid. i cant come up with a reason why alta dosent allow them other then maybe some profit from that court case if any?
If im not mistaken alta and MRG let people snowboard if they hike up (as if anyone is going to hike 2k vert) so maybe some shit with the lifts?

MinggI don't want to start an argument or anything but there's just as many bad skiers as there are bad snowboarders. It's kinda shitty to say all snowboarders side slip when half the skiers at my hill slide on their edges to turn as opposed to actually carving. But I don't know, maybe it's different out there.

As far as the ski vibe thing. There are other places like that such as Hickory in NY. It has nothing to do with being ski only.
I wonder how many criers we would find on here if parks went back to being "snowboard only".
