Stupid Injuries and Frustration

So today I went to the mountain like usual and on just my 3rd run I go to do cork 7 (and Ive done probably 100 cork 7s) and feel myself going a little big so I just open up and land with my feet just a little crooked, and my right leg lands in a rut and I sprain my MCL. Ruined my day, couldn't ski anymore and now Im sitting around and my knees swollen as shit, Im not gonna be able to shred for at least 2 weeks, or do much of anything and Im incredibly frustrated. Ive been waiting for some kind of break this season with the weather on the east coast and Ive lost just about all motivation fo this season. I know everyone else on here from the east is frustrated too, but does anyone have any kind of injury motivation or any kind of motivation because I really love skiing but its been like a chore to go to the mountain the last few weeks and since going today I cant even walk. Help NS

If anything, the weather has motivated me to ski more. I now ski 4 days a week. In the past I only skied 2 days. Take it easy with your knee though. You don't want to rush back in and tear something. The one thing that frustrated me the most, was winter starting so late. Early season is my favorite time of the season, but instead it just went straight to midseason.

Damn dude that sucks, whenever I'm kinda pissed about what happens on the hill, I'll mostly stick to what I know I'm good at, helping my confidence and going back to what I wanted to try. Best of luck man, skiing is so fun but it can really mess with your body and mind.
