trouble with handrails.

Like many of you, i love to go out and do handrails and other urban things when it snows. I probably fail trying a handrail or whatever about 4 times to 1 successful. Does anyone else have this problem?

and its not becuase i cant slide the rail, its usually a shitty setup or something but I dont know what im doing wrong.

speed is usually the issue. riding with a crew that knows how to pole whip well is key. just keep at it.

speed is always an issue. ive gone on 4 urban missions and same thing, only 1 was succesful. buy like a hundred foot rope and keep it with you so worst comes to worst you use a fuckin car haha.

The coolest thing I ever saw with a downtown set up, was in one of my snowboard vids. But this guy has almost no-where to get towed-in in front of him. So they take the rope, and tie it to the car, and take it down to right infront of the rail, and put it over top of one of the bars and then string it back underneath, and then the guy is holding onto the handle of the rope. So when the guy drives it pulls him to but the car is going the opposite way of the rider, isnt that vierd/cool/gnar?

Set up an down ramp on the back of a truck. Make it a two piece setup. First is a triangle box that is 2-3 feet high and is the first part of the down ramp. Have the edge of it go right to the edge of the tailgate. The second part comes from the tailgate to the floor. Gives you in the end about a 5-6 foot ramp, and you'll get a nice boost of speed.

get your balance EARLY. before the first kink. its the matter of coming on to the side. its hard to get a good centre early, then the first kink throws you off. iff its straight rails, i dunno.
