i work in the produce department in a local grocery store and i often have to do random shit for the floral department.

call or go in during regular work hours, not store hours (like between 9 and 5) and just ask the person who works in the floral department. they are pretty knowledgable and will help you out.

Make sure NOT to buy any arrangements with carnations. Carnations are the cheapest flowers and girls hate them.

I gave my prom date roses and the next period she said that she didn't see anything in the future for us, and that she didn't want to go with me to prom, and the next day I found out she was going with one of my friends...Soooo that is my experience with flowers, but everyone is right girls usually love flowers...unless you have shitty luck like me.

I once made little paper flowers for evey single day of our relationship and then spraypainted them red. I also made a custom shirt and put in in a white box filled with those flowers...it took me forever

get her a cactus flower. some of them can be really exoctic. plus they symbolize women perfectly: extremely beautiful but if you get too close, you might end up hurting yourself. (those damned spines are impossible to get out of your skin)

i gave flowers once, it totally got me laid. her jerkass ex boyfriend had just taken off without telling her or anything when she was outta town. she came back and the flowers on her table were dead. like 10 dollars worth of these sunflower things that looked like the dead ones before they died and im in like flynn
