The K Fed?

Skiers at my resort keep talking about the coolest trick in the book the FED.. I think i understand what a fed is but can someone help me understand what an almost fed is? or an overfed?

Go for the KFED! No but for real there is no such thing as an almost fed or over fed. Instead they are called KFED (front swap blind 270), Super Fed (front swap blind 450), and super fed (front swap blind 630)

A kfed is not a backswap blind 270 that'd be a Ray Charles.

A kfed is a front swap which is spinning frontside on one side of the rail to get to the other side, sort of like you are switching sides. So for example if I slide 90 degrees on a rail with my left foot forward I would hop 180 degrees mid rail to land back on it with my right foot forward after I land back on the rail I would continue my spin and do a blind 270 out.

Im in full agreement. But honestly in reference to the trick tip posted above, if youre not doing the BS 270 out dead in line with the way the rail is pointing, you might as well not be doing the trick at all. The ones in the video are pretty decent (good isolated switchups and nice pop tips over 270 out) but when you use the side of the rail to push off for the final 270 out, resulting in falling off the line of the rail, it ruins the entire trick.
