The internet did some digging because his illuminati comments, Bridger is (or was until this) an ultra private, hedge fund management company that employees around 15 people, they invest 10-15 clients money, around $4bil (w/ 23% return or something fucking crazy). A huge portion of their holdings are in pharmaceutical companies. Now ask yourself- Why would CthaGod be at Bridger when his networth is an estimated $500k. He is not the type of client that they would take because hes not that wealthy (4bil between the 15 clients is over $200million invested each on average)
So what is really going on..? Was CthaGod at bridger because they want him as a client? or do they want CthaGod as a pawn with a large audience. He's a very small fish in a very big ocean. The effect the price hike has is so small, it practically has no effect at all. Other drug companies are much worse at over charging and raising the price of their drugs. To be mad at Shkreli for it makes no sense at all to me. Get mad at the big pharmaceutical companies or the government regulations because that is where the problem lies, it's not with Shkreli. He has nothing to do with how the industry runs.
Practically no individual pays for Daraprim. Either your insurance company pays for it, or you get it for little to no cost. Essentially all that's happening is that when Shkreli gets his check from insurance companies, it's 5000% larger, all while the people taking it pay nothing.
I also hate how the media calls Daraprim an "AIDS drug". Makes it sound so much worse than what it really is.

I don't know how I feel about him, he seems like he's manipulative and first he gained media attention by doing the shit he did, and now he's doing shit with vice and other alternative media outlets that obviously have a bias towards liking the guy. or he could just be a decent dude who fucked up and is getting lucky now but idk he's smart enough to keep people wondering what he's doing

To me, when I hear AIDS drug, I think of a drug that fights against AIDS, which this drug doesn't do. It only fights against infections, most notably toxoplasmosis. The key is that it's for people with weakened immune systems, which is why most people who take it have AIDS, but if your immune system is weakened from something else (such as certain cancer treatments) then you might need it. Many people who have AIDS will never need to take this drug. While most people who take the drug do have AIDS, calling it an AIDS drug is misleading and a bit of an exaggeration.
About 2000 people per year take the drug. And while you're right that the cost is spread out over everybody, it is such an incredibly small part of the drug industry that no one would notice a different.

After watching those videos, I've concluded that he is not a bad guy. Like he said on The Breakfast Club, the media can make an enemy of anyone, and they've clearly done that effectively, as no one sees this side of him.
