Replying to Why do You Ski?

Why do you ski? I feel like skiers are some of the most down to earth people out there. They know how to appreciate nature and their surroundings and they know how to enjoy life. So why do you ski. I've always skied because of the freedom. Youre not trapped in a rink, or a stadium playing others. Being told what to do. You can do whatever you want and enjoy yourself with friends. If you want to ski park in the morning and then go shred 8" pow in the afternoon you can. Whats your guys main reason to enjoy the sport?
