Rossi Soul 7 Vs Shreditor 102?

The problem with the 7's is the edge does not fully wrap the tip. Then you end up with the edges lifting where they start. If it's not filed down, then they catch on stuff and get worse.
Go for the ski that has a fully wrapped edge on the tip. Plus if you want to skin the K-2 has the holes that work with their skins.

If you are big on the air tips, then look at the Solomon Q Series. They have that plus a full edge wrap on the tips.

The Q105 does not have full wrap. It's like the rossis, only they put a 3 inch long standalone edge on the very tip. I can't speak for other Q series skis

the new 102's do not have holes for skins.

I have the super 7 and the shreditor 102, and have skied the soul many times.

They are quite different. The soul is better on crud and groomers and just all around skiing IMO. The tails are more supportive and they have more sidecut, so they turn better. The 102 is like a super fun ski. Much better for jibbing and playing around. It doesn't ski groomers or blast through choppy snow, but it's light, awesome in softer snow and much better in the park.

If I had to choose one as a one ski quiver it would be the shreditor because it's a full twin and I like more freestyle skis. If you have a park ski already though, the soul might be a better option.

Depends on how much you weigh. I have the Q-98. I only come in at about 130 tops dressed!
The ski does it all. Trust me I've been skiing for 45 years plus.

Funny thing, the only skis I've had delam at the tip have had fully wrapped edges. I've put about 200 days on both the Moment Ruby and ON3P Caylor each. Neither of which have fully wrapped tips. Zero problems. Add in another total of 300ish days on another pair of Moments and two other pairs of ON3Ps and still no issues with the tips.
I certainly don't baby my skis either, i land on rocks, trees, stumps, ice shit all the time.

I wouldn't disqualify a ski JUST because it doesn't have full wrap around edges.

I wasn't talking about delamanations. Just to watch out for those edges lifting.
I don't DQ the skis at all. I just see less issues with fully wrapped edges or edges that have a protector. Many skis such as the 7's have neither.
