Happened the other day at Tamarama beach, Sydney, Australia I heard the thunder from my house, I would guess the bloke filming is from Cambelltown in the west, probably leb.

One time I was backpacking and I fell asleep during a rainstorm. At first, it was soothing, but then in the middle of the night, lighting struck the hillside like 40 feet away. I (both literally and figuratively) jumped out of a deep ass sleep and hit the roof of the tent. Didn't sleep for the rest of the night.

Bro I dunno it could be, it was on the news and shit which doesn't say much but I remember the night before the vid blew up there were a few small sounds of thunder and one huge one, and the one in this video is pretty close to my place
