Ski boot liners soaking wet

My boots are full of water at the end of the day. No matter what I've tried I can't keep them dry. I like carving hard and ski fairly fast but never out of control. By lunch time my feet are wet when the snow cover is good. By the end of the day when I take my liners out, I can pour a half cup of water out of my shells I always dry them out well overnight but the end of next day they'll be wet again. Any help ?

They are Lange boots, is that typical of Langes. I went to the shop where I got them and they checked them out. Said the toe seal looked good. Will give the duct tape a try.Thanks

there may be other issues but when I was a kid and pretty much my whole family had langes my dad duct taped all of them, and so did most of the other race kids so I assume it was an issue back then, and I wouldn't be surprised if lange never fixed it

I have this years xt130s and they have had tape over the toes since day one. Also how hard are you buckling all 4 of the buckles?

What Langes are they? I had Lange RS130's and they let water in just below the toe buckle by the black rectangular piece. A strip of duck tape over that black rectangle and up to the bottom buckle helped.

A lot of race boots leak (not just Langes) as well as kids boots, most of the time it's from the overlap on the top of the boot by the bottom buckle.

You obviously need to get full tilts...

Just kidding. As others suggested try the duct tape. Langes have been leaky since the dawn of time, its one of those things that is constant in life.

I used to do the duck tape with my old Langes too, never had any luck with that. Tried the BootGlove too, no luck there either. I think the snow is getting in where the upper part of the boot overlaps right about where my ankle bone is, on the that faces the the other foot. My uphill ski throws snow at it every time I turn.duct tape keeps wrinkling there when the boot flexes.

this is news to me. I've been riding in my langes for 3 seasons now and have never had problems with leaks. maybe its because I clamp my boots down real tight or i just got lucky and got a non leaking pair.

My Nordicas leaked.
My Atomics leaked.

Both pairs of my Tecnicas leak. I just pull my liners at the end of the day.

My dalbello's leaked same with my new nordicas. I think its just snow melting through the cracks. Hard to avoid especially if your skiing snow deeper than your boots

Oh, and half a cup of water is a serious amount. Maybe try going to the bathroom before you go skiing?
