There's a lot of crap being posted that isn't news and/or hardly even threadworthy. Please stop.

You can do it by going to the news upload page. Its right there.

The box in the top left dropdown was confusing people and they were dumping all sorts of videos, etc. there. We tried to make it less confusing.

It is harder to add remote articles now, sadly we've never really seen the success we had hoped for with this feature. Some crush it with that, but many sites have blocked iframe embedding and the general populace didn't seem to pick up on it the way we wanted.

So its going to be sort of quietly retired over time. Maybe never, who knows but we're just downplaying the prevalence of it.

Hah yeah I mean you're one of the few that really use it. Its too bad more media didn't utilize its full potential... plus I think we really needed to make some tweaks on the user interface of it... but can't win 'em all I guess.

Maybe more media would use it if you'd throw them a FB share once in a while ;)
