WHY IS CAM CADDIE CRAP SO EXPENSIVE

I really wanted to get a cam caddie for skiing and skating, but they are mad expensive. I got a used one of eBay for like $20 but now i can't find an accessory mount for less than $20! Wtf.. A double sided cold shoe mount alone is $25. Thats ridiculous. Does anybody know where i could find cheaper parts or if i could mod it to hold a videomic pro and a led light?

Why would you buy one of those in the first place? You can make a better handle with parts from a hardware store for probably $10-$15.

Just buy the opteka knock off stuff on amazon, its the same thing for half the price
