MSU bozeman

I've been looking into MSU as well, and am curious about all that too!! I heard that every dorm has a ski/board waxing room!

HEY! I graduated from McQ in 2013, and am now attending MSU.

If you have a car or bike, the town is easy to get around, and the mountains are easy (and fast) to access. Hyalite Canyon has hiking, climbing, ice climbing, biking, cross country skiing, running, a lake, etc. and river access is close with awesome fishing.

I'm a girl, so the only thing i can offer on women is, it's MANtana. There are girls, but there are way more guys.
If you want to go to an outdoors oriented school, then it's def the right place. There's lots to do besides ski- so long as it's an outdoors activity. There isn't much 21 under entertainment in town, but that's slowly starting to change as Bozeman grows.
I like the school, they'll work with you as long as you put it the effort to seek them out. Classes are relatively small, and professors are accessible.
The dorms are old- but we do have a new dorm being built right now. The food is alright, Miller is SO much better than it was my freshman year. Like, it's actually dank.

I'm a freshman here and its the best place ever. so many people here are skiers, and yes theres a wax room 3 doors down from my dorm room. lots of hunters too its pretty easy to go out and hunt. People go camping in super cool spots every weekend until it snows.

also the girls are great.

Bozeman is the shit. Also Bridger and big sky are right there. Plus Bozemans got some bomb ass chron

Freshman at MSU currently. Bozeman is an amazing town, everyone's friendly and the vibes good. The school itself is a good school, all my classes have been good. If you have a car you can get around to Hyalite and Bridger very easily, getting around town itself is perfect for walking or biking. Bridger is such a rad mountain, Big Sky is going to be more expensive and farther away but just as fun. Camping is world class in the fall and as soon as snow falls the whole campus changes and everyone is in a ski season mindset which is rad.

I graduated from Galena then went straight to MSU. Enjoy bridgerbowl under 19 years old pass prices, then think about skiing big sky. Both are amazing. definitely go for the hedges for dorms, rosky is also tight. shwag meals suck. don't worry about picking your major freshmen year, take core classes and start looking into what you want. You will have to get all those core classes out of the way anyways so its a perfect time to enjoy college without starting your focus. If you are into guac, put weather proofing on your door and then a box fan blowing out your window. Romney gym used to have a secret sauna room second to top floor. Howard hall has a room on the top floor where there is another door that leads to a ladder that goes onto the roof. I recommend not buying food on campus, go to town and country across from the stadium, better food, better prices. Get into fly fishing, you will be in one of the best places in the lower 48 for it. Be sure to check out zydeco for some cat fish po boy's and la tinga when they are open (if they have chicken mole on the menu when you visit, fucking get it, the lady who owns it comes from the area in Mexico where mole style originated and her recipe is gods food). Don't deal with any of the frats. except partying there freshmen year and fucking up there place. There are not the most girls in Montana in general, but quality over quantity. Summer is as fun as winter. Disc golf courses on the bridgers are amazing and a great way to walk around those mountains while fucking around.

And my number one piece of advice, if you are paying for out of state tuition either your freshmen year, or any year there after. DO THE STUDY ABROAD PROGRAM. It is almost the same price (depending on where you go). Do not waste the opportunity. Look into it and apply for it.

I'm looking into getting an accounting degree, but nothing is set in stone. Is bridger's park any good? Football games seem fun, I feel like there is plenty going on there. Occasionally you just have people bagging on MSU and I don't understand

The new business hall is dope. It has a cafe that I'm pumped on in it.
It's fun- but not the best. Big Sky is def the place to go for park.
It's mostly kids who go here & don't want more people coming to MSU.

I go to UM in Missoula, but MSU is nice. My brother went there and so did a bunch of friends from my class. I like it there. You can't go wrong in Montana!

Weird question I know but is there any skateboarding there or nah, and how's the partying there too haha
