Help me convince my parents to let me grow out my hair

My bangs are down to the tip of my nose if i lay my hair down straight. So it's not even long yet and they are already on my back about cutting it. They don't like long hair at all. If it were up to me I would have a man bun by now. I am a junior in highschool. Their only real argument is long hair looks bad. I say it's my hair I can do what I want, my brother had long hair, but he is in college so my parents don't really have a say. Help me out here guys

I dont plan on letting my kids have hair until they are 18. Ill shave their heads every week so they arent tempted by satan and the pursuit girls or rock music.

The funny thing is, parents only exert this level of micromanagement over good kids. Parents of bad kids are like, please stay out of jail and finish highschool, we gave up on giving a shit about your hair a long time ago.

That's how my dad handled it. There was no convincing or doing what I wanted.

Now I'm in my 3rd year of college and I havent cut it since spring 2013.

my mom always battled me to get haircuts growing up. because of this i was stuck in the in between stage all of my teens. as soon as i moved out and really grew my hair out, she says, oh wow it actually does look good when its long. haha fuck i told you so mom...

Have a job but not a car so I need theirs to go to the mountain. Also they never gave me allowance, ever....
