i have a freind who is going there and he said anyone can get accepted there cuz it's open addmission, how true is this?

the college pass is $599 at steamboat, but its good at sooo many places around the country. Like killy, sugarloaf, steamboat of course, canyons, and 3 other ones that i can't remember off the top of my head.

ya, it's sorta like a community college. They have campuses in Aspen, Carbondale, Steamboat, and more that I forget.

A friend of mine is going there this year, he loves it. Its not exactly a fine academic experience, but they have alot of outdoors oriented programs. Pretty sure you can train in mountaineering and guiding, what not.

Not too sure, all he tells me about is the snowboarding, climbing, and weed.

I just dont understand why you would spend money to go to a shitty community college out of state. Plus $599 for a student pass to steamboat is a rip, and it's not like you will have money to travel to the east coast all the time to ski if you are a student, so that negates it being good at other resorts. UBC students get whistler season passes for like $399, that is a good deal in my mind.

Wouldnt waste your time. Theres community colleges around that would better your education more than that. CMC is to learn how to be a ski lift operator. Push the green button to go, the red to stop. I think ill ace my final.
