Fisheye for film camera

I've been shooting some skiing and other shenanigans on film recently, and thought that a fisheye would be a cool lens for some uses. Anybody have any recommendations for a relatively cheap one (it's something that I think would be fun to mess around with, so I don't want to spend 500 for the canon one)? I currently use a Pentax spotmatic (m42 mount) but the meter is dead and my favorite 28mm lens recently died, so I'm open to switching systems (Olympus om1? Or another Pentax? Idk)

Save the hate, this would be nothing more than something to fuck around with. Since I'm looking to go pretty cheap, should I consider a fisheye attachment for a normal lens?

Either Rokinon or Opteka 6.5mm. They are basically the same glass, same manufacturers, just labeled as different brands. I got mine off jet.com for like $140 and i love it.

That's a fine lens and all but it's only made in modern mounts. I'm looking for something for m42, om, or fd mount

I'm sure you could find an adapter some were?

adapters go the other way. due to the way the lenses are built, generally speaking, you can only mount the older lenses on new cameras.

Thats also a crop lens, it won't cover 35mm film (full frame).

You can get fisheye's for film cameras but they cost the same as a modern one (500+) due to rarity. Your best bet would be something Russian thats screw mount.

Only 16mm and as with most Russian lenses, their optical quality is a complete gamble that ranges from cloudy Volga ice to near Zeiss sharp.

Gonna look for one then. Since it's nothing h more than a lens to fuck around with, I can deal with poor qualiyy

find a scratched nikkor 16mm 2.8. scratch gives extra hip points
