13 Hours movie discussion

So usually there's a discussion on like every movie and I went to see this last Friday night and I'm surprised I didn't see a thread. So here it is.

What did you guys think? I really liked it for the kind of movie it was. Michael Bay did not do a bad job at all and the actors were pretty darn good. It was a very well done movie. Might be one of my favorites.

Quality wise it was meh, I was delightfully surprised to find out though that it wasnt chalked with conservative propaganda. I would have thought it would have been littered with anti-Clinton rehtoric given the fact that it's an election year.

Ended up not seeing it that night but did tonight.

Great movie, but pretty heavy.

Read the book. It wasn't written by Michael Bay so already its 100 times better.

I didn't know there was a book. But I honestly thought he didn't do a bad job. I was surprised he was the director at the end

It looks like another Act of Valor/American Sniper type movie that bleeds red white and blue with bland acting to form entertaining gun battles interspersed between dry and substance less plot scenes

Its a pretty damned good book. I highly suggest it.
