I've been in a shell lately because I've been paying too much attention to the NFL playoffs and Super Bowl cause i live in the bay, but why wasn't tom wallisch invited to xgames slopestyle?
Is he too busy working on his street part?
Didn't do enough shit to get himself out there cause of his injury?
Too busy working on development of his ski?

Idk the answer, but can someone help and not call me a fucking idiot for not paying attention.

Kinda a bummer always looked forward to watching him in slope. Might just be me but I'd much rather watch him ski park than a full street segment. He's already done just about everything when it comes to street

With how good he is now all he's doing is getting way more creative and going bigger with the stuff he's got. I like seeing that more than watching him dial both way sw dub 10s on a slope course.

yeah, i strongly, but respectfully, disagree. dude is an absolute animal in the street (first thing that comes to mind is that switch 4 on from wallisch project, wtf). he's insane in park too but slope contests just dont have enough variability to show what he's capable of

He was working on his X-games Real Ski Street part. Yes, he is finished with competitions at least for the most part, andd focusing on street skiing.

Which is awesome.

Insane. Not saying that he's doing it wrong-- hell I agree that he's doing it right. But personally, I just enjoy watching how insanely good he is skiing park. Not saying I don't appreciate his street segments (i buy that shit, for real money), but if I could have my ways, he'd ski the top 10 parks in the world and each park would be a segment. I'd much rather see this than have him risk his health (life) hitting sketchy urbans.

Again, if it's what he wants to do, all for it. Just saying, I'd pay more to see him shred for an hour (rather than 10 minutes of urban), of the best parks in the world

To each their own, I guess...I'm not a huge Wally or urban fan, and that segment is mindblowingly good. I've watched it 3 or 4 times, and I'm showing everybody. Unique, creative, fuckin huge..

He doesn't have to have intense training year round. I just think he should put down a run and possibly even focus on creativity above sending the gnarliest triples.
