BmillerzHey Guys,
Im looking into getting some K2 shreditors, however as a guy who has always ridden hire skis i'm unsure on what is the best width and length to go for.
I would say I am an advanced/intermediate skier who can happily ski everything on piste and I am wanting to venture into the backcountry more. I am 5 '7.5 and weigh 170 pounds.
Any help would be appreciated!
Hey bro,
I've been riding the 112 as an all mountain/park ski in japan this season. Fun ski, gets chattery on the hardpack but I'd imagine the thinner versions wouldn't do this as much.
Bit soft for my liking, can't charge as hard as some skis, but really buttery and fun in the air.
I've been riding them -2.5 from center and they still float even in the deepest japow we've had. (At high speed anyway)
For what you're looking for, the 102 would suit. Go a bit longer than usual since the rocker is substantial.
Overall awesome ski that rips anywhere, except on pure ice. Carves like a beast if you're into that. Stable enough to drop decent cliffs and can hold its own in the park.
Floats well.
