Have you gotten into a fight on the moutain?

So as we all know Saturday is gaper central at mountains since it's the weekend.

So my home ski areas lodge is already tiny and when you have gapers that just sit inside all day it's hard to find a place to sit to enjoy some food.

So I go inside to get some food with my gf. There's no where to sit but we finally see some family leaving so we go and patiently wait for them to leave and we snag the table. So I take off all my gear like my jacket, helmet, goggles, and set them down on the table and we go get in line for some food. Since it's Saturday it was packed and the line took forever to get food. So we're in line for a solid 10+ minutes and we finally get to checkout. My gf pays for the food and I go get us some fry sauce and head back to our table only to find a group of gapers. So I'm not that mad at first and I kindly ask "hey can I have my table back" most of the gapers get up but this one is stubborn and won't get out of my seat. He threw some of my gear on the floor as well. So I'm standing over this kid who's my age and I'm telling him I was here first, this is my table, and he needs to move. He's like "no I was here first" but he wasn't at all. His gaper friends are standing there watching and this kid is super stubborn and a little liar so I'm getting frustrated. I'm about to punch this kid in the face. So I'm trying to keep my cool and I say "look man, my stuff is here, I was obviously here first and we all know that". Then he tries to tell me he promises me my helmet and stuff wasn't there and he didn't throw my stuff on the ground. So I literally asked him if it was some sort of magic that they appeared there while he was sitting down. Then he tries to explain himself but it didt work so I'm like "so t was magic?" So I'm pretty pissed by now and I want to sock this kid in the face but there's a big crowd and I don't want to start anything. So I finally tell him that he's either gonna move on his own or I'm gonna make him move. He finally gets up and him and his gaper friends go find a table. My gf comes back right as this all ends and I give here the low down.

So I avoided a fight which is good and bad. But if this kid wouldn't have moved I would have given him a taste of my full tilts which are pretty much like brass knuckles for my feet.

Was cruising the park last week and this older snowboarder tried to fight me and my friends.

Apparently he thought we laughed at him when he fell on a rail, not the case. He proceeded to stop and take off his snowboard and try to tackle my friend(he's 14) as he skied by. Park crew came out of the shack and starting yelling at him. Things escalated from there and the snowboarder charged the park crew dude who came out to stop him. My friends and I just watched in awe as a this crazy mofo chased the park crew dude. This older dad who was in the park took the guy to the ground, COPS style. It was legendary.

Turns out the snowboarder was on meth. #idaho

In my days before park skiing..... in 7th some indian kid kept talking shit so I said something about his moms curry sucking just like the fact that he cant eat cows and has to worship them......he pushed me so I tackled him and as the liftie was pulling me off him I punched something....I think his nose lol....I said it was play fighting and got off with a warning..lol

never been in one but when i was in whistler last year which was my first year skiing i was in the little park just hiking this one box trying to learn some new tricks and these two other park skiers most likely locals and were obviously good and just looking to have a fun time in the little park before they headed out and they tried sort of double sliding this butter box. Almost like one guy gave the other guy a hug from behind and put his skis in between the other dudes skis and they just tried to slide the box like that, just for fun. Meanwhile well they are sliding like this going 3mph because its obviously a little challenging this fucking gaper comes hauling in shouting as loud as he can "what the fuck! i wanted to fucking hit that you idiots" while he stomped up and down. i thought it was a complete joke at first thats how pissed this guy was. The guys basically told him to fuck off and rode away while they got chased by this dumb fuck i dont know what happened after that but im guessing something went down at how pissed he was.

A few days ago my friends and I were skiing down to a spot where everyone stops before the jumps at my local hill. Some snowboarder came across from the other side of the hill and cut my friend off pretty bad so my friend just kinda muttered something under his breath and the snowboarder absolutely lost his shit. He started undoing his bindings and coming towards our group. Dude was like 30 and was talking about settling it like men and shit. We told him we weren't going to fight him because there were a whole bunch of little kids around and we didn't feel like it. He ended up leaving when we started laughing about him to his face. I'm not really sure what his plan to fight us was because he was alone and there was 4 of us. He ended up eating shit trying to straight air the jump which was pretty funny.

this year a swedish gaper was asking me and my friend if he should hit a 41 ft jump on blades. I was like sure whatever, but then he and his gaper friend started sliding down the hill towards me, scrapes half the fucking topsheets off of my brand new fucking skis, so he pushed him down off of my skis and he skidded for like 20 feet where I snowed him going into the jump.

When i was in like seventh grade i was riding up the lift and theres a section thats oddly low (like 4 ft off the ground) and my friend unclicked my binding and took one of my skis off as i went by. So i ski down like 3/4 of the park to get to the section where he unclipped it and was waiting and i immediately just unclicked my boots took off my glove and punched him in the googles/head. then i just like got him on the ground and said dont fucking do that all tough guy style lol i have to laugh at how fucking stupid it was thnking back i probably looked like such a douche.

then this other time in like 10th grade my friend (same kid, lets call him JOE for this) tried taking my other friends (CHRIS) goggles and basically hid them the whole day and eventually we just got to the top of the lift and Chris had gotten so frustrated with Joe he just unclicked his bindings as JOE already had (this was built up prior) and tackled him. Chris got on two boots while Joe tried and just started punching Joe in the side of the helmet/goggles then some randy broke it up cause it was literally 10ft after the off ramp for the lift

whenever someones beefing with the crew, I tell them to watch out cause we squash any and all beef. We squash beef between crews, we squash eachother's beef, we squash their beef, we squash our own beef, sometimes if it gets real heated I'll just start sqashin my own beef right on the slopes. works every time.

A huge, delicious brownie for $2 and delicious home grown Idaho potato French fries hot out of the fryer for $3.50 and you stack your own fries. Pretty darn good deal for resort food.

my homie was filming me with a hella expensive cam and I ate it on a rail with a super deep landing and a snowboarder ran into him flying off of it being super reckless and then when we tried to get his name because his gimble broke he was being a dick and we stopped him from moving till he gave us info. He took off his goggles and helmet and I knew who he was from my dorm hall and he pushed my filmer and then he pushed back and the boarder started a big fight that ended up on the ground but the homie hit connected on hella hits to his face and basically won. Some serious BS that was very uncalled for.

no. im sure there are some good reasons to defend yourself/friends but fighting on the mtn is insanely dumb. like why do people get that fucking angry over recreational activities? I always find it unusual and try not to laugh whenever I see people getting into it. people are massive dildos.

I have never fought anyone on the mountain, however yesterday I saw a 71 year old man push over a boarder kid that cut him off, and then the boarder kid jumped up and tackled the old man to the ground. I had to call patrol to break it up.

On Friday night some piece of shit snaked in front of me when I was on the in run for a jump line. I slow up because it's pretty obvious he's not in the park much due to the complete lack of etiquette. So the kid eats shit off the first jump and I barely get stopped before I go over the lip of the jump. I yell at him to get the fuck out of the park and ski away. Down at the lift line he cuts in front of me and my girlfriend so while he's talking to his friends about the trick he had supposedly just stomped I lift my ski and gently put it down on his tails. As soon as this kid tries to move he double ejects out of his bindings and face plants. He comes back up ready to fight, and I'm stepping out of my bindings at the time. I almost feel bad because I'm 6' 185lbs and this kid couldn't have been more than 130. He tries to shove me and I just stand there, this kid can barely stand let alone fight in ski boots so I barely shoved him and he is on his ass in the snow. He yells what the fuck at me so I just tell him to stay the fuck out of the park. I jumped on the lift after that and skied the rest of the night without having to deal with morons in the park.

So when I was 13, my friends and I got into a heated verbal fight with two older skiers at lovely ol' mount jore. My friends and I got on the gondola and we had to separate our skis, so each ski took up a slot on the rack outside of the gondola doors (twin-tip problems). Then two older skiers ended up throwing one of my skis and one of my friends's skis into the gondola and they yelled at us for simply putting our skis in each slot of the rack, like it was our fault that we skied on twin-tips. We pretty much threatened them to pay for a new set of skis for myself and a new set of skis for my friend if they ended up damaging our skis while throwing them into the gondola. I'll never 4get that day.

Seriously. Throw on some tunes and hit the slopes with your buds. Just too many rich assholes that have to have everything go their way. Fucking tourists.

The only time i get mad is when somebody snakes me. But i brush it off bc theres always the next run. No reason to get in a fight about it.
