what do u guys think i should buy . i'm pretty much all around video/photographer and i can't decide between 11-§6 (tokina) and 8mm (samyang) if i buy 8mm i probably have money to buy 35mm 1.8 also but if i decide 1116 all of my money goes to it. sooo... leave a comment :) thank you !
The 8mm is really, really wide with no zoom. I've never used it for video, only photos.
The 11-16 is probably going to work a lot better. It's a much more versatile lens than the 8mm. The 11-16 is also faster, which will be nicer for photos if you need it. I have the 8mm and it's not sharp at f/3.5.
go for 11-16, best uwa lens for aps-c sensor (if you own one), perfect for video and photo. really sharp and its 2.8 which shoud give you some good lighting.
