Frankly, it sounds like OP doesn't want to pursue anything that takes a good amount of effort. In that case, fall back on the land you have, and go become a privateer archeologist selling shit on the black market.

I was just giving an example of a job you can do that you don't need to go to school for - I do graphic design and make a good living, most agencies require no form of post secondary education.

Finish your degree. Being educated is important and being able to put it on your resume is a good thing that will distinguish you.

I am in the same boat as you. I am finishing up a geology degree and realized I HATE it. I am literally forcing myself to finish it because I have one semester left. It's really hard, I know. I actually found something I enjoy and want to do, wild land firefighting, finishing this degree is keeping me from doing it. I know I can't do physical jobs forever and have to be educated for the future.

Get your degree. Then say fuck it. Get low paying jobs and live your dream, just do whatever you want. Just always have something to fall back on.

My plan is 5-8 years of doing seasonal work then grad school in snow hydrology once my knees hurt too much.

Life is too short to not be doing things you love, but have a fall back plan just in case one day you realize you hate sleeping in the back of your car.

mmj grow in RI and MA selling your overages to patients is like 60g's a year minumum. just watching plants grow and reading up on cultivation.. cant even imagine the money to be made out west

If it were that easy to pack up and start a MMJ grow out here people would be doing it left and right. The laws are constantly being changed and scaled down for caregivers, in MA especially. 60 g's a year gets downsized to 20 max when you are limited to legally only ONE patient and a few plants.

i suppose youre right, it really is more so for RI and ME. We will be there soon. but six flowering six maturing, you can stretch it especially if you can extract. donations and overages, but dont be advertising it.

Yeah it just takes a little time and luck that everything goes smoothly over the next few years. VT is promising for legalization, but MA is also close. There was a factory fire in RI in a BHO production facility that really set back the state of RI in terms of reform on the marijuana laws or even potential legalization. There was a witch hunt for a few months for any producers of BHO in RI and MA. It was wild.

Not that easy, but yeah. I have watched people in Western Washington build up multi hundred thousand $$ in profit businesses from growing and processing Marijuana.
