My edges are pretty finished, I've been wondering if there is a point when your edges can get so dull that it effects your ability to grip rails
Is this true at all?

baitGripping a rail in order to do spins out does not require sharp edges. It is the angle and pressure of your skis against the rail that does the gripping. However if the edges are so far ground down that it is the base of the ski sliding the rail, It can even become sticky.
