Anyone else get this from a snowboarder or any other non-skier? I have and I find it pretty weird that even after a few years of skiing slopestyle in the x-games, some people are still this ignorant to our sport. Haha, it's great sometimes.

Yeah it's pretty funny. I used to know some guys that didn't think it was possible to slide rails on skis. 'Well, there's 2 skis, so how can that work?' Hmmmmmm, I guess the thought of turning 90 degrees in either direction never crossed their stupid minds.

thats real true about posuers and boarding....one kid in my school hasnt snowboarded in 3 years(parents are scared he'll break his collar bone again)...and still claims hes a snowboarder, and bashes skiing all the time....

why not, they are exactly the same thing as a snowboard.

anyway, id say most pro snowboarders are slightly better than ost of the ski pros, but there are still quite a few skiers who are on par, if not better than most pro snowboarders. its really not about what they ride, but what kinda skills they have. cause either way, shit is hard to do.

honestly though, i was pretty amazed , way back when, when i hurd u cud slide rails on ur skis, i have skied tsince i was 5 and i wanted to snowboard to be able to jump and do rails, then came twin tips and all that crap which saved my life

so i was mobbin solo last weekend early one mournin....hittin up the singles line and shit and i get paired up with a few old guys skiin staight 210s n shyt....they were hella cool, asked me if i liked my skis and such, one guy was makin references to the 'beaver'....then one guy goes....so with your back tip turned up like that, you can do just about everything snowboarders can right???....no, i freeski biatch...and got off the lift....

I told a friend that I skied and he said he could never imagine me in a tight spandex suit and he imitated a Nordic skiers strides as he said you would look so gay.
thing that pisses me off is that he wears really tight pants and he got other kids to beleive that the only kind of skiing is Nordic skiing.
