What would be in a new Skate 4 anyway? They don't have to do much, just build a new map, keep the rest relatively the same, thats more or less what they did for Skate 2 at least. Skate 3 physics and gameplay are fucking great already

I would really like an improved park builder, like a feature that lets you make more uniquely shaped bowls instead of relying on everything having 90 degree corners.

an ability to turn snap on and off and also merging things would be nice.

You can turn snap on and off, and you can merge too but it can be fairly glitchy.

Basically all I would want in a new skate is a better park editor. Off the top of my head some things I would want:
-As said above, better transition editor. Not limited to 90 degree corners, and be able to make over-vert or less than very trannies (you can get around these in skate 3 but it doesn't work that well
-Rail editor - I want to make elbow rails and kinked rails where it doesn't glitch out half the time when the guy goes through the kink
-Unlimited terrain in park editor

Actually those three things alone would solve most of my woes, though I'm sure there are more things I could think of.

been forever since i messed with it but im pretty sure you can turn snapping on and off and can also merge things, like make it so you dont have to worry about the corner of one feature overlapping with other features

upgraded park editor would be great. integration of all the park editor features into the full map, not just the props, would be clutch, but maybe unrealistic. I wish the park editor wasn't so choppy, relative to the full map.

Skate 2 was forsure the best. Skate was good but i always felt like Skate 3 was over rated. Besides being able to put new shit wherever u want, it sucks. I could play Skate 2 for years and find new shit to skate and never get bored.

i feel like my friends and i liked skate 2 more in most aspects (and the fun track is unbeatable) but the park editor in 3 was just amazing. we made our best park and shared it then just tweaked and refined it over months of playing

hmm i coulda sworn you could turn both snapping and merging on and off, it's been a while though
