Replying to Gouged my base badly
So today I was at loon and went for a 270 on a box that had a nail sticking out that wasn't sticking out in previous runs and I caught my base on it right away and fell and I went back up to check if there was a nail and sure enough there was and I continued on my way notified the park crew who had already been told and I noticed something was dragging on my skis so I looked at the bottom and there was a a pretty deep gouge on the bottom of my skis. I'm not gonna bitch and complain to loon for having a nail sticking out on their feature it happens and loon works hard to put in a good park and they do a damn good job of it so I'm going to patch with ptex Ik how to do it but the gouge goes all the way through my base just hitting, not damaging the wood in my ski, so should I put a layer of Ptex on it and then wait until it hardens then add another layer to build it up? Or should I just fill it all at once?
