ok first off i want to say this is fucking bullshit, what the fuck happened to WE DONT NEGOTIATE WITH TERRORISTS?

so i'm watching the news this morning and they are talking about American citizens, whom some of them have been held in horrific Iran prisoners since 2012.

And the news is acting like this is some kind of good thing, and America is establishing better foreign policy relationships with Iran?

Like the news is talking about the USA and Iran are trading and swapping prisoners like they are FUCKING POKEMON CARDS???

WAKE UP AMERICAN AND SMELL THE COFFEE

THIS IS BULLSHIT!!!!

People aren't cards, and the people that were held captive had their reasons for being held captive. Mostly breaking laws in a country that doesn't care for our own. The reasons Iran has been so good of late is due to their IAEA sanctions, they are close to being able to build nuclear arms and they want the world off their case. By letting prisoners go, they are able to build a sense of goodwill toward the world.

It doesn't matter the conditions the prisoners were held in, or they have been held for the past 4 year; what matters is Iran is playing nice with the rest of the world and doing so when the world is giving them free range to start to build nuclear devices.

Yes it must be very dehumanizing to be traded around like a pokemon card. Would you rather that they just kept them captive instead?

they were is jail for hooks-pokus trumped up charges that were complete bullshit


the US Embassy and Consulate was well aware of what these people were being held captive for, and the prisons which were two of the most brutal and vile in Iran

Americans being held captive and tortured in Iran prison is terrorism, and its also fucking bullshit
