So I've always wanted to go to Antarctica. It's one of the places that offers no cheap method of getting there. If you're a scientist or in the military you might have some luck but otherwise it's tough on the budget.
So I kind of ruled that out, but later found and have been looking into skiing trips there. I figure if I'm going to spend an obscene amount of money it might as well include skiing.
This could just be a result of me being stressed but I read up on it more today, and talked to one of ladies that works for the company on the phone for a bit. I can't really afford it, or at least justify it in the budget, but I might do it anyway.
The cheapest room costs $8,900 but that includes everything on the trip other than obviously airfare ad probably the bar other than some drinks that are included I think. Not sure as far as internet but there's probably a charge for that.
Anybody down to get wild and send it? Or have I completely lost my mind.
Looking at the trip through Ice Axe Expeditions. Trip is mid november. 13 days, 6-7 on snow weather depending.
