I turn around and face inward for corks, rodeos, and flats. The board bending (sort of) mimics the angle of a jump takeoff. Gainer style corks sound terrifying.

I learned gainer corks this summer and 75% of the time I'd just flop hahaha. Definitely going to work on them normally

Honestly i find flipping on skis way harder haha

I used to be a competitive diver and gymnast. Getting used to throwing the tricks in the air and getting comfortable in the rotations will help, but on snow it will be considerably different. Both because the snow doesn't bounce you up like a board does, and you will have big long heavy things attached to your feet. But I'd say start small when you take it to snow and go from there.

Diving board is a great tool. Took many tricks from the diving board to the wakeboard, successfully.

I've got cork 7's, rodeo 5's, and flat 3's on lock diving, but I'm not sure if I should go balls to the wall and toss them on snow right away (I don't have access to a tramp). Anyone taken tricks straight to snow after diving? Tips? Horror stories?

Just find a properly built jump in your park that is suitable to try any flip with minimal consequence so in other words a jump that isn't small, but medium or large. I've done this with both a backflip and a flat 3 however I can tell you right now it definitely helps to have a good jump, I tried back flipping off a smaller one at Sunday river today and I landed it but it definitely wasn't as clean as it normally was, then I went for a flat 3 and idk what it was but it's a trick I'm comfortable on a trampoline and I've even done it on skis but on this jump just went up missed the grab opened up early and just slammed right on the landing. It was a small jump but when you come in hot to get enough air to flip, it hurt but not as much as how scary it was. Just felt like I was gonna land straight to my neck. I went back up and did it the try after but no where near as comfortable as they normally feel, but sack up and go for it you'll be surprised.
