I'm looking for a new do everything jacket, winter camping, hikes, nordic skiing, etc.. I usually use my current ski jacket for everything winter related, but i seem to go through a jacket every couple years because of it. I want something tough that'll last a long time, so price isnt a big concern. i'm willing to spend a bit if i'll get like 10 years out of it.
anyway, a friend recommended I look at waxed canvas, i've looked into it a bit and i'm sold, I'm looking at anorak styles, or something a little more basic, not crazy features. and looking for a shell, so i can layer underneath.
