J_BergTake me word, a freshman here now, don't take applied math. Shit is retarded. They herd all the engineering students into APPM 1350 (Calc 1 in applied math school) and its stupidly hard. Not beneficial even. Save your time, stress, parents money, and take MATH 1300.
Sincerely,
A kid who will be taking calc this summer.
But hey I get to summer in Boulder, righteous
.lenconI'm in HS right now taking Calc 1+. OP if you buckle down and learn your derivatives it's not that bad.

As for op, I think you should take classes through the math department. In my experience the APPM classes are unnecessarily hard and you'll have challenging classes soon enough during sophomore year so why hurt your GPA and skiing time early on.
dadiCU is the best, when you come out here you'll realize that you've been missing out big time on skiing too :)
CHORIZOEhhhh
.lenconMy gfs sister is going there for soccer. I can give you her digits of you want
.lenconSurprised no one took me up on this.
