Replying to Bringing home boys

I totally just posted this in NSG and was like "OH FUCK THIS IS FOR LADIES ONLY"

Anyway, Ive never been one to date the guy daddy would want to see his little girl with. They've always been on the bummer/dirtier side of things but most of them have treated me better than the clean cut, Harvard grads. However, my parents (dad especially) have always been somewhat judgemental towards this breed of male. I know i shouldn't be embarrassed at all of the person I'm with but you always want to please your family right? Im getting somewhat serious with this guy and I've already met his family so I'm thinking of taking him to meet mine. Has anyone else struggle bussed with this issue?
Im kindof hoping it'll be like that time my brother got a pit bull and my parents flipped a bitch but it ended up being my moms favorite dog...
