Broke my binding- What now?

I would be interested to know how you guys respond to a binding failure. Given that ski bindings are a 4 part situation (heel and toe X2), is there a "binding parts" resource I could utilize to order, say, a heel piece? I have Rossi Axial 120's and I cracked one of the heels. It would be nice to be able to replace one part without having to buy a new set of bindings. Thanks guys

I wish I could do that but I know it wouldnt work in this particular case. Just want to replace the heel

this has happened to my friend many times and i would say that you should take it into a local ski shop to see if they can do anything about it for cheaper than new bindings.

My ski shop is pretty loyal to me with discounts/ priority service and I bet they would be able to work something out. Just figured I would try to find some online parts source first. Thanks

Just go buy new ones. Which means a binding other then Rossi

I am not crazy about these rossis. I had sth 12's for a couple years but they seem to like to tilt and release too much regardless of my din. These rossis have been very solid for the last 2 seasons up till now. With the crack they like to pop off my front foot especially when I spin on to a rail. What binding do you recommend?

If you didn't like the sth then you can look at either the FKS or attack series. Both good bindings.

When I was younger I broke loads of those heel peices. I always had luck with going into my local shop Ski AK and being straight up with the tech asking " how can you get these back on snow? Do you have any parts? Can you get any parts? " worked every time. Ones he had a spair and the other two times he ordered the part needed from Rossi

Take them into a shop that sells Rossi bindings and see if they can't order in a spare part for you.

Look on the Buy/Sell forum on NS, Axial2's are very popular and most of the time there are quite a few floating around on the Buy/Sell forum for cheap.

Go to a 2nd hand ski shop and see if you can find a pair of 2nd hand ones.

I would recommend using silicone dildos to hold your feet in place on your skinny snowboards. They work well and u can pick em up from Adam and Eve dot cum

use old ones and new ones all the time. depending on where it broke, you may be able to get replacement parts on the cheap....lets see where its broke

I was just about to say maybe contacting the manufacturer might Help to see if anything can be done. The AFD on my brand new pivot 12s just cracked and broke, no damage to the ski or boot, and I sent it straight to them to see if they will help out with replacing or anything since it's so new

Next time that happens call Rossi's warranty #, order new AFD's for $7 over the phone to have mailed to you. Dont waste time or money shipping anything to them. Then you, or a older, sibling, or parent could help swap out the new AFD. Dont waste the time and money going to a shop. You'll prob get over charged and they'll take way too long. I just replaced on in the Van last week. If you need any help call or facetime us!
