Best bang for your buck Mid-west or western ski resorts?

I've been talking with my friend since freshman year about doing a trip out west, since we're from the east coast it becomes more and more appealing each year. What mountains will be the best possible mix of conditions, cost, and size?

Bridger Bowl

Lift ticket is like $50
Easy 25 minute drive from Bozeman
Has a more backcountry feel to it. Especially if you have a beacon probe buddy to hit up Schlasmans and the ridge.
More locals ski there too so it isn't so packed with tourists like Big Sky.
Typically it receives more snow than Big Sky as well.

I second this. OP, Montana is a good. In my opinion its a way more chill experience than CO. Idaho is pretty close too and there's some good deals to be had there as well.

Go somewhere in Western Canada. Better terrain than anything in the USA and the exchange rate is great right now.

3rd for Bridger Bowl. Another place that you can get to from bozeman is Big Sky. I've gone to Big Sky my whole life, Sadly though tickets these days are over $100 bucks (Hopefully you're in College, tickets are like 80) Granted they've got amazing skiing when the snow is good and so much terrain you really can't ski it all in one day. Beautiful girls everywhere. Get a cheap hotel in bozeman and drive through. If you can, do a couple days at Bridger, a couple at Big Sky.

I'm from the Midwest, I know 0 people that have even considered going skiing in the east. It's like the Midwest with more vert. The Rockies/tetons are way easier to get to, and they have more snow.
