Replying to 2016 Line Afterbangs?

I'm looking to get new skis sometime later in the year maybe and I have a knack for beating up my skis. I currently have K2 press and have started to see the base peeling off under the toe. I also have huge chips and overall damage all over, top, bottom, and sides. Basically i'm just wondering if I should get the line afterbang cuz i heard they're durable af or are there other super durable skis that are a little lighter in weight.
