Swandog7I hope it won't pull away from the Era of 09 or however you would define that, but it could see some improvement and progression and creativity. I feel like style and technicality is so emphasized (which is fine) but creativity of tricks Mayne could see a change.
Dennis_ReynoldsIf all goes accordingly then I plan to implement Robot legs into freestyle skiing by the end of next month
HAMNATIONthe same but warmer LOL
KevskiAside from comp skiers (which will probably just spin a bit more on weirder axis combos), I bet the rest of skiing will focus on flow and linking less technical but expressive tricks together. Skiers will probably keep pushing what the bunch is doing, but do it bigger and cleaner. Parks will keep accommodating with more interesting features to get nifty with.
Clothing trends will probably keep going towards non-ski-related clothing: wool sweaters, leather jackets, silly hats, etc. as we continue to celebrate expressive skiing and the top creative skiers give no fucks and just wear what they want. Gangster will continue to fade and only a select few will push that style.
JUP*Ive been out of the skiing and NS game for about two years (returning now with as much enthusiasm for the sport as ever and new a appreciation for all types of skiing) and its changed so much. Everything has seemed to get smoother and cleaner from urban to competitions to your local mountain's park to the backcountry (wether it be jumps or just skiing a rad line). And I think that's where skiing is going to continue to go. As well as people will be taking park tricks on to places around the mountain you would not expect. I would like to see that park skiers would take the rest of the mountain by storm with their own way of shredding and raising some hell. Clothing trends are cyclistic, so I imagine so could be that of ski clothing. That being said you may see 6XL make a come back. Or (which I find more likely) things will keep getting tighter and more like off mountain clothes (and then return to 6XL a few years after that).
Cooool_pineappleput an end to the tight pants
