GinTableI used to break my poles, then I bought full tilts
DeforestationFull tilts are boots, buddy.
JaybrtnI think my poles must be made from some mythical material because I just keep bending the crap out of them then just straightening them out with my knee. They're still going strong after a few seasons
KravtZNever break my poles. Have had a pair of those carbon ones that bend for like 8 years now. Things are impossible to break. Well worth the investment.
Mr.BishopPro Tip:
If you heat them up before bending them back they have much less chance of breaking.
JaybrtnGood call.

Mr.BishopHeat gun is the best way to do it if you have one.
Over the stove does the trick, but its a bit ghetto and you can get paint on the stove. Still works though.
JaybrtnIt's just kind of tricky when I'm on the hill with a significant amount of time left in the day and it happens. I have a propane torch I could throw in the car I guess, that should work
Mr.BishopYeah I mean you can do it on hill no problem, the thing is you risk the steel breaking. If you're totally screwed just do it, but the best thing to do is wait until you're home and you can heat them up and bend properly. Depends on how much you care about your poles.
JaybrtnTrue, I'll try the heat next time, thanks. I'd rather not have to buy new poles if I don't have to haha.
