spencerwelteWell the title says it all, I've had some salomon spk boots for 4 years now and i have to buckle them to the final buckle every time and they still don't fit. I didn't go to a bootfitter when i originally got them but this year was the first year that they don't feel snug. Is it possible that they are just packed out too much and I need new boots?
I bet that your boots are the wrong size and/or shape for your foot to begin with, therefore getting a new liner will not truly solve your problems. Do yourself a favor and start from scratch. Go see a reputable boot-fitter in your area (if one does not exist, invest the time to find one or see one at your local/vacation mountain), have him/her assess the needs of your foot, then find the right boot for your foot shape & the right flex for your needs, GET A SUPPORTIVE FOOTBED in addition, and you will have a very comfortable set of boots.
Do not listen to boot recommendations from other people. They do not have your footshape, nor your biomechanics. Listen to your boot-fitter.
