Making your own park

So I live about 2 hours from the nearest resort which is a shitty place to ski. I do however live close to a river with some hills around it that look wicked. I Want to try to build a bit of a park on one of the slopes. I've got some boxes and rails I've made over the last couple years and hopefully there's enough snow to build some decent jumps. Thoughts? Any tips? Anyone tried something similat

1.) gather ur buddys
2.) think of fun rails and shit
3.) get buds to help build said shit
4.) ??????
